Having the most accurate and reliable property information is essential to performing accurate analysis and projections for the properties you’re analyzing.
DealCheck has partnered with Zillow® to allow you to import properties directly from the MLS for further analysis. This feature is available for most US properties and does not require an MLS license, as all property data is provided by Zillow.
Importing New Properties from the MLS
Step 1: Click the "Add Property" Button from the Property List
Navigate to your rentals list if you're adding a new rental property or your flips list if you're adding a new flip.
Click the Add Property button at the top:
Step 2: Select the "Import from MLS" Option
Step 3: Search MLS Records
Type in the address of the property you'd like to import and click Search to search the MLS database and public records:
This should work for most properties located in the United States. We currently don't support property lookup in other countries, but we do plan to expand this in the future.
Step 4: Select One of the Properties from the Results
Once the search is complete, you may see several matching results. Select the one for the specific property you'd like to view:
On the next page, you'll see all of the available information for the property you selected. Keep in mind that some fields may not be available for all properties (here is why):
Step 5: Import the Property
Once you've verified that this is the property you're interested in, click the Import Property button at the bottom of the page to add it to your account:
Step 6: Customize any Additional Deal Parameters
After importing a property from the MLS, most of the fields will be filled our for you.

Viewing Updated MLS Listings for Existing Properties
In addition to importing new properties from the MLS, you can also view updated MLS listings for your existing properties.
This can help you monitor the property listing for any changes, such as a reduction of the list price.
You can do this by navigating to that property and selecting the MLS Listing option from the property menu on the left side:
You need the DealCheck Plus upgrade to view updated MLS listings for your properties. Click here to learn more about it.
