In addition to signing in with an email and password, you can sign in to DealCheck with your Google, Apple or Facebook accounts.

If you prefer, you can just use third-party accounts to sign in, or you can use them in addition to an email and password.

Follow this guide to learn how to sign in to DealCheck using one of the supported third-party providers, as well as how to link them to an existing DealCheck account.

How to Sign In Using Google, Apple or Facebook

To sign in to DealCheck using your Google, Apple or Facebook account, click one of the third-party provider sign-in buttons on the DealCheck sign in page:

You can do this when signing back in to an existing DealCheck account, or when creating a new one. In either case, the email address associated with the third-party provider you select will be used as your DealCheck email as well.

How to Link Google, Apple or Facebook to an Existing DealCheck Account

If you already have a DealCheck account and would like to connect it with additional third-party accounts, you can do that in your account settings.

First, navigate to the My Account page from a link in the top navigation bar:

Then, scroll down to the Connected Accounts section and click Connect next to the account you'd like to link:

After you finish signing in with Google, Apple or Facebook, that account will be connected to your DealCheck account, and you can use it to sign in going forward.

How to Change Third-Party Accounts That Are Connected to DealCheck

You can only have a single Google, Apple and Facebook account connected to DealCheck at a time.

If you need to change which account is connected (for example, switch from using one Gmail address to another), you'll need to disconnect the old account and connect the new one.

To do this, first go to the Connected Accounts section of your account settings, and click the Disconnect button next to the account you'd like to change:

Then follow the prompts in the previous section to re-connect to a new Google, Apple or Facebook account.

How to Switch to Signing In With an Email and Password

If you created your DealCheck account by signing in with Google, Apple or Facebook, that will be your only way to sign in to DealCheck, unless you connect other third-party accounts or set up a password.

To set up a password, scroll down to the Account Settings section in your account settings, click the Set Up password button, and finish the process in the popup that opens:

Setting up a password button

Once you do that, you will be able to sign in to DealCheck using an email and password, in addition to any third-party accounts you have connected.

Following this, you can disconnect your third-party accounts from DealCheck, if you no longer wish to use them to sign in.
